Dani, Before the beefsteaks are ripe (still nice and green) haservt a few and slice them about 1/3 of an inch think. Dip them in flour and then corn meal and fry them in good canola oil. There's nothing better than fried green tomatos!! You can also make a green tomato relish. Relish is something you can serve on meat and it can be made out of so many things from your garden. I grew up spending my summers on our family farm and learned to love canning things even your green beans and zucchini pickles, etc. It is nice to make yoour own apaghetti sauce as well, so next year grow Roma tomatos they have almost no acid and are great in salads, etc. Mange bene, Marcia
